Installing GEA acqua:
Just as simple as putting in a heating system. No question.

The components.
GEA acqua is delivered completely ready for installation. All you need is the pipe network in the building. The GEA acqua package consists of the indoor fan coil units with their enclosures, a separate closed-loop control system, and pre-assembled valves. Also included is the outside device (a chiller with integrated cold-water storage vessel) an expansion tank, a circulation pump, and an electronic closed-loop control system.

The installation.
GEA acqua operates with a standard pipe network. As a result, you can connect our indoor fan coil units to any intact heating system. An additional cold-water circulation network is then installed that is fed from the outside chiller. Rooms that are not intended to be cooled do not need to be upgraded. This is because GEA acqua functions perfectly together with conventional radiators in the same pipe network.

And you can forget about refrigerants.
The small amount of refrigerants that GEA acqua needs to cool the water is contained only in the outside unit, in a pre-filled refrigerant circulation system. This means that you have nothing to do with the refrigerant during installation. If any work should become necessary on the refrigerant circulation system, our service team will come to your aid, wherever you are.

The outside chiller.
Mount it in place. Install the cold-water connection. Provide power:  230 or 400 V.

The indoor fan coil unit.
Install the hot and cold water connections. Then the condensate drain. Attach the fan coil unit. Provide power:  230 V.

The pipe networks.
A standard piping network is used for the hot-water and cold-water circulation sysem. The cooling lines are insulated to prevent condensation.

The fan coil enclosure.
Just fit it down on top of the basic unit.

Controls.
There is only one control system per room:  on the unit, with a return-air sensor, or separate as a room thermostat.

Filling the system.
Now fill the system with water and glycol. Use the automatic filling unit. Then vent the air out of the system. Then put the system into operation.
