The MultiMAXX air-treatment system, now with protective features for use in hazardous atmospheres
|
Since the summer of 2005, GEA has produced the re-designed MultiMAXX New Generation air-treatment systems, now with advanced features. You can heat, cool, ventilate, and filter in recirculated or mixed-air mode, depending on the model you choose. These systems are installed on walls or ceilings, with typical area of application on industrial shop floors, commercial facilities, or sales rooms. With its 5 different installation sizes, the new MultiMAXX also covers an extensive performance range: it achieves air-flow rates up to 12,370 m³ and heating output up to 137 kW. The great flexibility of these systems also shows up in the wide variety of selection and combination possibilities of the components: for example, with the intake and outlet accessories, the motor variations, and the materials of the heat exchangers. The units carry a removable design panel that is available in various colours. The industrial version, with its sheet-steel enclosure, goes without colourful accents. The secondary-air louver enables the MultiMAXX to effectively penetrate the entire depth of an industrial shop floor. Its impressive features include only slight temperature stratification and low air-flow speeds. A brand-new version of the MultiMAXX offers protective features for use in hazardous atmospheres. This model, the highly capable successor of the M4-Ex model, is well suited for areas requiring ATEX protection.
