From chiller to unit heater innovations for heating, air conditioning and ventilation
Once more, GEA Air Treatment is setting the pace on the market for heating/air conditioning/ventilation products at the upcoming ISH 2005. All the new product innovations and optimised devices embody the company's claim of actively setting industrial trends in technology. The following examples clearly demonstrate this motto: the control system GEA MATRIX; new air-handling units of the GEA CAIR series, now soon to be rolled out on the German market; a completely newly developed unit heater; two cold water sets; the decentral small air conditioning system GEA acqua; the dehumidification device GEA Fricostar 800 and furthermore chilled beams and subfloor induction devices for quiet temperature adjustment in architecturally challenging environments.
The new control system GEA MATRIX The innovations include the GEA MATRIX, a control system suited for used with all GEA Air Treatment devices. Compared to the previous system, it is now even easier to select the components. All subassemblies, from the separate controls inside the individual device up to the wall-mounted operator control unit with display, obey a consistent connection logic, making the installation technician's job a lot easier. The new operating elements and displays have a clear, uniform design, so that the user can quickly and intuitively make the respective settings whether for heating, ventilating, or air conditioning. GEA Air Treatment is also displaying a few oversized units on its stand, demonstrating the interaction of the control components and presenting the typical application in comfort-controlled air treatment, whether in a commercial or industrial environment.
On the market in Germany and Poland as of 2005: the GEA CAIR air-handling units Visitors at the fair will be able to take a look at the prototypes of the GEA CAIR series, presented for the first time at the ISH 2005. CAIR stands for "Customized Air". The new air-handling units, which will be launched on the market in standard sizes as GEA CAIRplus and in compact form as GEA CAIRpicco in 2005, should cover practically all requirements due to the diversity of offered sizes. At the fair, the future product range will certain convince all knowledgeable visitors, who can also learn about the top of the line configuration software Lplus while at the stand.
MultiMAXX: New generation of unit heaters The newly revised generation of air heaters MultiMAXX will be presented as well. The prime advantage of the air heater is its extremely flexible configuration, which can be optimally adapted to match customer requirements. Along with the possible link to the GEA MATRIX control, this provides a high-performance total product.
Cold water generation with refrigerants and ammonia GEA Air Treatment demonstrates its expertise in producing cold water with two chiller sets displayed at the fair. Aside from the device using an environmentally-friendly refrigerant, a system employing ammonia and manufactured by the GEA Group will also be on display. The ammonia cooling set is proof of the Group's striving to unite comfortable air conditioning with ecological and economic objectives.
Silent Comfort Components attractive and acoustically discreet The components also work quietly in the Silent Comfort area for instance the passive chilled beams with integrated lighting. The stand offers visitors an insight into the broad range of design possibilities for these products. Solutions such as the subfloor induction devices are further examples of silent systems which implement comfortable heating solutions combined with large-scale glass façades.
Decentral heating and air-conditioning with GEA acqua The GEA acqua provides an impressive counterpoint to the conventional split air conditioning systems, offering a decentral system for small commercial units or private use. There is no need to install refrigerant lines here: the low temperatures are provided by the closed central device and transported via water circulation to the fan-coil units, which allow for a rapid temperature adjustment. The room units can also be integrated into the heating circulation and thus replace conventional radiators. Advantage for the consumer: both heating and air-conditioning are provided in the space usually required for just one function. Visitors can take a first-hand look at the system at the stand.
Dehumidifying with GEA Fricostar 800 Wellness enthusiasts will want to examine the GEA Fricostar 800, a dehumidification device suitable for use around private pools and small hotel swimming pools. The different set-up variants include a low-priced positioning near the pool as well as a visually inconspicuous placement within a wall.
